-----------------------------------------------------------
Welcome to our 2004 Summer issue of Avatar Studio's electronic
newsletter, AVATAR TRACKSHEETS. Since early spring, Avatar has been
extremely busy, thanks to all of our loyal clients out there. On top
of having the rooms solidly booked, we have been busy adding various
new gears, reconfiguring & making improvements to our rooms. In our
next issue, we will announce some of the exciting changes that we
have made to better accommodate your sessions.
1. SUMMER MOVIES AND AVATAR
One rite of summer is to see a wave of big movies hit theaters to
captivate and thrill audiences who are trying to escape the heat. Two
movies from the recent batch of releases have music recorded at Avatar.
The first movie, already playing in theaters, is De-Lovely, the Cole
Porter biopic. Artists who recorded for the soundtrack at Avatar
include Sheryl Crow, Diana Krall, Elvis Costello and Natalie Cole.
The second movie, just released, is the much-anticipated Spider-Man 2.
Yellowcard recorded a song at Avatar that is included in the soundtrack
released by Columbia Records.
Whether a period piece or an action / adventure flick, Avatar enjoyed
playing a part in bringing you some great summer entertainment.
